Educational Software System For Teaching STEM To Visually Impaired People

Abstract ‘Education for All’ is a farfetched dream all Developing Countries. ‘Inclusive Education’ still farther. Visually challenged individuals are far from main steam Education. Their overall education limited to humanity subjects only. They not able take up Science and Mathematics as subject beyond middle school because of the lack concepts, study material & sufficient teaching aid. The existing solution in Braille partial this problem. Our research resulting solutions enable them develop concepts understanding science mathematics which help STEM subjects(Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Middle School too. In proposed solution, we have developed Machine Learning-based Software –Hardware Integrated system that helps understand level higher Science. It an integrated has software application connected with hardware comprising features like ‘Concepts Explanation’, ‘Study Material’, ‘and Practice Test Yourself’. whole can be accessed using TalkBack accessibility feature application. If blind individual trace Mathematical shape such say ‘sinusoidal graph’, then person will draw graph real-time on digital screen attached (along voice assistance tracing shape/graph). When sketching completed, coordinates figure traced mapped those particular pins/buttons raised device. Thus, touch board. Moreover, sketched further checked its accuracy result read aloud by assistant embedded based Learning Algorithms.
